Request for assign the European
Cup FISTC sprint, mid for season 2007/2008
Organizers - Royal
Canin Musher Club Lucenec, the Town of Turcianske
Teplice and Spa of Turcianske Teplice require
for assign the European Cup FISTC in categories
sprint and mid for the race "TURIEC
SPA 2008" organized in Turcianske Teplice-Slovakia,
2th - 3th of February 2008.
The town of Turcianske
Teplice along with spa are situated 50 km from
Donovaly, the place of European Championship sprint
Donovaly- Slovakia, 7th -10th of February 2008.
The Race will be realized one week befor this
championship.
Organizers guarantee
to make the perfect raceways in the responsible
lengths for sprint and mid, simultaneously to
use the services of spa for mushers and their
handlers for free.
Simultaneously
we invite the members of FISTC executive to visit
the non conventional race in scenic beauty of
the spa town in Central Slovakia which continues
onward into splendid surroundings of Kremnica
mountain range, where was European Championship
MID/LONG Krahule 2006.

The second day of the European Championships
Cart in Sletten (DK) was as exciting as the first day.
The cold and cloudy weather was perfect for the dogs,
however, trails were a little bit less fast than on
Saturday due to a rainy night.
In all classes the best athletes won
and titles went to many of our best mushers and runners

INFORMATION
" As once
again many mushers still have questions about participating
in non-FISTC races, the FISTC Board reminds that only
the participation to any WSA Championships is strictly
forbidden. Participation in IFSS or
ESDRA championships on snow or dry land is allowed without
any sanctions. This is the result of the decision taken
by the General Assembly of the FISTC in 2006. "

Ladies and Gentlemen,
dear Delegates,
I am very happy to welcome you here in Modena for this
General Assembly and I take this opportunity to thank
Massimo Bassan and the FIMSS for the perfect organisation
of this event. It is clear now that this year most of
you have enjoyed Italy and this is another opportunity
to discover new aspects of this wonderful country.
Let's start working.
This year my report will be much shorter than in previous
years. The main reason is that we had a tremendous winter
with very little snow all over Europe and that many
races have been cancelled during the season, week after
